At ApexFoil, we build our boards for adventure and durability. We stand behind the quality of our products with a comprehensive warranty designed to protect your investment and give you peace of mind on the water.

​1. Warranty Coverage & Period​​

​Standard Limited Warranty:​​ Your ApexFoil electric surfboard is covered by a ​​24-month (2-year) limited warranty​​ from the original date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use

  • ​Battery Warranty:​​ The battery pack is covered for ​​12 months (1 year)​​ from the date of purchase, provided it is used and maintained in accordance with our guidelines

  • ​What’s Covered:​​ This warranty covers the cost of repair or replacement, at our discretion, of any component deemed defective, including the board’s core structure, motor, and electronic controller

​2. What This Warranty Covers​​

This warranty applies to the original purchaser and covers:

  • ​Defects in Materials:​​ Flaws in the physical materials used in your board.

  • ​Defects in Workmanship:​​ Issues arising from the manufacturing or assembly process.

  • ​Electronic Components:​​ The motor, electronic speed controller (ESC), and battery (for 12 months) are covered against functional defects.

​3. What This Warranty Does Not Cover (Exclusions)​​

This warranty does not cover issues resulting from

  • ​Normal Wear and Tear:​​ Gradual performance degradation due to regular use.

  • ​Consumable Parts:​​ Items like grip pads, foot straps, and removable fins.

  • ​Accident, Misuse, Abuse, or Neglect:​​ This includes collisions, impacts, water damage due to improper use or submersion beyond specifications, or use of incompatible chargers.

  • ​Unauthorized Modifications or Repairs:​​ Any alterations or repairs not performed by an authorized ApexFoil technician.

  • ​Cosmetic Damage:​​ Scratches, dings, or cosmetic wear that do not affect performance.

  • ​Damage from Improper Maintenance or Storage:​​ Failure to follow the care and storage instructions outlined in the user manual.

  • ​Acts of Nature:​​ Damage from events like lightning, floods, or other environmental disasters.

​4. How to Make a Warranty Claim​​

Follow these steps to initiate a warranty service request

  1. ​Contact Our Support Team:​​ Before returning any product, you ​​must​​ contact us at ​​support@apexfoilsupply.com​​ to describe the issue. Our team will troubleshoot with you and may request photos or a short video to understand the problem. If a warranty claim is validated, we will provide you with a ​​Return Authorization Number (RAN)​​. Returns without an RAN will not be accepted.

  2. ​Prepare for Shipment:​​ Securely pack the product in its original packaging, if possible. Include a copy of your ​​proof of purchase​​ (order number or receipt) and write the ​​RAN​​ clearly on the outside of the box.

  3. ​Ship to Us:​​ Send the package to our service center at the address we provide. Please note: ​​The customer is responsible for the cost of shipping the product to us.​​ We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service.

  4. ​Inspection & Resolution:​​ Upon receipt, our technicians will inspect the product to confirm if the issue is covered under warranty.

    • ​If covered:​​ We will repair or replace the product (or its defective parts) free of charge and cover the cost of shipping it back to you.

    • ​If not covered:​​ We will provide a quote for the repair cost. If you decline the repair, we will return the product to you at your expense.

​5. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)​​

The entire process, from inspection to return shipment, typically takes 7-10 business days after we receive your board.

No, this warranty is valid only for the ​​original purchaser​​ and is ​​not transferable​

We offer paid repair services for issues not covered by warranty. Contact us for a quote.

Please contact the shipping carrier directly to file a claim. Inspect your board immediately upon delivery.

​6. Limitation of Liability​​

OUR SOLE LIABILITY UNDER THIS WARRANTY IS LIMITED TO THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF THE DEFECTIVE PRODUCT OR PART, OR, IF REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT IS NOT FEASIBLE, A REFUND OF THE PRODUCT’S ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE. APEXFOIL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR INDIRECT DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCT
